A native version of Triaz was 'in the works' but it's been there a while now.
I think I'll ask them about it.One would imagine they’re working rather than talking.
If those features include some BreakTweaker inspired retrigger/slice curves and other Microedit related paraphenalia, I for one am happy to wait a bit longer. That, and a GUI that doesn't suffer from being crammed into Kontakt, are my major desires.
Yep...I check their website about once a day, just in case. In the meantime I'm still loving the Kontakt version. Classic.Update from WA on Triaz native. Delayed but coming “this year”. We will see.

Indeed it is, we are working hard on Triaz native version. It is a massive job, and some of the areas of the coding have proved more difficult and more lengthy than expected since we last spoke. We also have added some new features which have also delayed things a bit. We've of course missed the Q1 expected release, but it will definitely be coming out this year. It will be worth the wait

In a follow up email, the only feature he dropped so far is an SP1200 mode. Cool, but not really groundbreaking. Hopefully there is more to justify the wait. I would rather they had launched it and added features as they go, but I guess they will do another hard launch like a new product and all the new features will drive new potential sales.
Hmm, not sure I need a pre DAW DAW within a DAW, no matter how important it was to the democritization of music! Having said that, it's undoubtedly a sound move given the number of LoFi bedroom producers there are these days, and sales support development, so I won't hold it against them.
