What's new

Wave Alchemy Revolution/Drumvolution are so good

In meantime, added Soniccouture AC-DR, pondering Electro-Acoustic. Also WY -RPE2.
Pianist /keyboardist will always struggle to sort these top tier offerings.
Have checked Triaz earlier. Where does Native version fit in overall DAW drum inventory ?

(edit) Samples from Mars @ $44. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'd delete the Kontakt version and use the native one. I'm confident it'll have a larger, more usable UI and be able to import sample packs either at release or sometime thereafter based on what they've said.

I'd wager it'll be one of the most "powerful" drum machine plugins (as opposed to natural drums like Superior Drummer) released to date.

Triaz Native Version is almost here:

"It's fully ready and installers are built and ready to go. We are literally just now polishing up the web page, finishing off the marketing content and finalizing the script to place this into all Kontakt Triaz owners accounts"

Great news. Been looking forward to that one.

Yessssss!

Native TRIAZ UI is definitely much improved and much more functional/user friendly vs the Kontakt version.

Check the KVR thread and see Dan's replies re: no MIDI out in the v1 native release. Sounds like time to get the email/forum requests for this feature moving.

Yeah this doesn't matter to me since I will continue to use Logic's Step Sequencer for other drum instruments (and maybe for Triaz itself), but for non-Logic-users this seems to be the best alternative sequencer by far, so I can see the use case for midi out driving Kontakt and other drum libraries.

Absolutely. For me, the holy triumvirate of drum programming tools are piano roll, SD3 grid editor, and TRIAZ sequencer.

This was me for a day or so, until I remembered this post in this very thread - from December 2022:

So maybe their sense of time is a little different than mine? I saw on KVR that they were saying the native release is "days away" but maybe they mean like 137 days? Fingers crossed...

No it’s just days. Could be this week. They’re working on marketing materials etc - code is done. Or so I’ve read.

Likewise. I've stopped checking now, and will just do the sensible thing and wait for either the email or a post here, whichever comes first.
I'm still impatient, but a little less publicly!
