The TENET Guy
Would it make sense to have ozone after TGP, or do you think this is overkill?
Bro stop worrying about other plugins and just use TGP
You for real don’t need anything else, you’ll be just fine using only TGP

I found in this video, a good, detailed explanation of what's going on inside.
That's pretty good. I was able to spot the God particle without even hearing it previous to this. That track just had more depth to it in the low end.
I'm not usually one to buy into the magic plugin that does it all but after this explanation, I have to say, I'm sold. Will be picking it up this week.
I've done both, and often I've regretted using more processing after TGP when I listen back to the tracks. If you decide to go that route, I suggest you turn off TGP's limiter, use Ozone very lightly, and use it's (or external) limiting last.Would it make sense to have ozone after TGP, or do you think this is overkill?
Are you using Goldclip before TGP, or maybe just on individual tracks? With TGP on the master are you considering the track mastered, or just mixed?Every single track you’ve heard from me in the past year and a half has used The God Particle exclusively, if there’s any plugin you need to have this is the one, it will replace your entire mixbus and get you better results instantly

Ah, thanks. I did see this in the comments on one of the videos.TGP is a MIX bus plugin, it is not supposed to be used for mastering. Gold Clip is a mastering plugin, so Gold Clip always goes after
I keep seeing everyone confuse TGP for mastering and that is not its intended purpose at all, put it on your mix bus and then master afterwards
Cool, thanks for the knowledge.Yeah we use it right before a limiter, the limiter we use is actually the limiter in TGP, but it’s a completely separate instance of the plugin and everything is disabled in the plugin except for the limiter
One last question. Do you master as a separate process, or are you mixing into the mastering chain? Here’s a general idea of what our mix and master bus chains look like:
MIXBUS:
The God Particle
MASTERBUS:
Slate VMR Virtual Mixbuss (Neve)
Gullfoss Master
Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor
Kirchhoff EQ
Make Believe Studios Sontec
Gold Clip
The God Particle (limiter only)
The masterbus is subject to change depending on the track/project, sometimes plugins get swapped out, the order of the plugins gets moved around, or plugins get removed entirely, but that should give you a general idea of how we go about things

Ok thx, so when I hit it, even it just lights up every few seconds, I should consider that something is wrong with my higher frequencies?
Oh another question:
Do you have it on the mixbus when you start producing or later when you start mixing? Does it matter?
But it never lights up when you use it? The highs - one
