New computer question

I have my samples on my ssd. I notice a slight lag when I start my daw, but even more so when I go to close it. Def manageable though.

I think I'm prob gonna end up getting a second internal hard drive down the line. Any suggestions as to a brand/model that would be both efficient and a good value? Prob looking to get 2 to 4tb depending on the price

Got a 4tb internal drive. I don't think it was completely essential but i wanted things running smooth and on the external ssd, things were extremely slow when closing my daw. This is great.

I'm with 128gb of ddr5 ram plus a 13gen i7 13700k and my libraries are all stored on a 4tb nvme. I use a template with hundreds of disabled tracks and usually except for the loading time I don't have issues while using a great number of instruments at once. I do use Spitfire Audio heavyies libraries: BBCSO PRO, and SSO Pro loading articulation by articulation for convenience. You should be fine

Ok. Awesome thanks man. Picked up a 4tb nvme earlier this week. So far I'm not even close to flexing this computers muscle. Works great.
