Not sure if its the same thing, but reminded me of Spitfires Phobos, but you could actually load your own samples with this.

I'm having a blast with vast, trying it on spitfire hammers... Very interesting results with low drums, and I look forward to going deeper with it.

I purchased fury after watching an Ari video, and just watched the vast demo track breakdown and think I'll switch this from trial to purchase.
