What's new

Tympo by Teletone Audio

You can export the MIDI data from the Beatmaker if you grab the TYMPO logo and drag it in to your DAW’s sequencer.

This feature isn’t totally showcased or clear because it doesn’t maintain what is drawn in to the Feel lane which is a big part of some of the grooves.

That said this is something we are working on to try and fix.
Thank you so much for your reply!

Just found the Teletoneaudio website and had a look around. I really like the tasteful concept and they all sound wonderful. It's on my list.

Thank you, and glad you stopped by :) Now is probably the best time of the year to cross things off your list! ;) Best deals of the year.

Thank you though, and appreciate you taking the time to say as such.

@Teletone Audio I assumed that changing the beat selection would only change just the beat / pattern, but it appears to change your kit and all related settings, which was a bit annoying! Is there a way to lock the kit and just change the drum pattern?

Right now no I’m sorry there’s not. We really loved the idea of each beat being their own unique sound and vibe.

Locking the Sound Design and Drum Details while changing Beats isn’t a bad idea and may be something we can explore.

Thanks!

Please do, it's quite limiting being locked into a single beat else losing all your settings!
In the meantime you can always get your sound dialed in, save that as a Beat. Then surf around for a new beat you are interested in, find your new beat, go to the Utility cog, hit 'Copy Measure'. Then go back to your custom saved Beat that has your kit and sound design and then hit 'Paste Measure'. That could somewhat save ya some time. Know that's not ideal but was just thinking of some solutions for you.

Thanks again for the feedback, will take a look at it!

I'm doing something kind of similar - working with two instances, one with my edited kit and another for browsing patterns. Far from ideal, but kinda workable :emoji_cold_sweat:

"Tympo is a bit of a gem."

I thought I'd share a nice review that was done by Sound On Sound on Tympo...

They give it 5 stars out of 5. Thanks again to you all for the support for this product.

We are in the middle of updating Tympo and are having fun with some new features. @davidson you will be happy to know that you can now LOCK the Sound Design and Drum Detail parameters while flicking through beats. :)
