Best Hammond B3?

I have the Arturia and it's not bad, but after reading your post, I downloaded the IK B3X and that is definitely the king! I also have Vintage Organ from NI and VB3 from GSI. I'm going to see if IK drops the price for Black Friday and then I'll grab it and call it a day.

The Leslie you get with IK B3X is gold. You get 5 cabinets including 147, 122, 122A and you can move the mic positions for a wider spread. I spent a few hours last night with this and it is really hard to beat. Makes me wish I had the GSI DMC-122 dual manual controller for my studio but for now I'll wait to see if this goes on sale for BF or just grab it anyway if not.

Interesting that nobody mentioned the Arturia one. Not on the same level as the others?
Good point Tiger. I think that many of us buy a certain B3 plugin because we like it. In many cases the audience wouldn’t know (or care about) the difference, unless it was really low quality. So maybe just use the one you’re most comfortable with.

I hate to admit it, but I honestly forgot it was in there. Like all Arturias it has a terrific illustration and a decent sound.

I think the most realistic ones right now are:

IK Multimedia
GSi-VB II
Adam Monroe's Rotary Organ (My plugin)
Logic Vintage B3

As someone who spent months trying to program and simulate a realistic Leslie, I don't really like how the Leslie sims in the Arturia B3, DB33, or GG Audio Blue 3 come across. The other's plugins are decent enough. However, the Arturia plugin does gets some of the percussive squeal right.

IK Multimedia is good, I'm just not sure if it's worth $300 bucks. At $100 it would be great.

IMO, no company has completely nailed the Leslie simulation 100% - it's a hard thing to simulate - but some have come close.

8Dio sounds fine, but it seems to be impossible to control the Leslie via MIDI. Acoustic Samples B5 is also a great option if you want more of a vintage/warm sound.

Thought I'd join this thread.
I own IK B3x, GG Blue3 v2, Acoustic Samples B5 v3, NI Vintage Organs and GSI VB3 II. From all of these, B5v3 sounds closest to the A100 and 147 Leslie I used to play. However, I find it's user interface very clumsy to use which is a huge shame! IK's B3x sounds very close but is much more intuitive to use so I use this one instead. GG's Blue3 is my next favorite and has the most intuitive interface. VB3II and NI's Vintage organs were my least favorite mainly due to the rotary not sound as good.
I haven't tried UA's Waterfall B3 so don't know how this compares to the others yet. Also GSI is working on a new version of VB3 which will be very interesting to hear.

Waterfall B3 is currently on offer for $39 at the moment and I'm wondering if anyone on here has compared this to the other B3 emulations!?

Where is Waterfall on offer for $39?

After a point it’s more about the way it’s played than the plug-in to make it sound realistic. Lots of great sounding options. And all real ones have a different sound from each other anyhow. Sorry for slightly unhelpful contribution.
I’ve used the Logic one and the NI one on sessions. And various incarnations of the Nord also. Only drawback with the Logic one is the faders on a mixer can’t be reversed in order to use them as draw bars. (Or I’ve not been able to work out how)

Audio deluxe

Thanks.
I've never bought from there, is it reputable?

Is it safe?
