UPDATE: Babylonwaves Art Conductor 9.8: Spitfire, VSL and more additions

@PickledPat you can try to load the Fluegel Horn and then drag the snapshot on the instrument. This way loading doesn't rely on the path stored in the snapshot. Other than that, no idea what this could be.

Hello,

Hope this is the right thread:

I've noticed two glitches in Art 7.4 for the cellos in Ochrestral Tools Special Bows for Sine. Can someone confirm if these issues have been fixed and how I can upgrade if so?

The stacatto sul pont triggers an indefinite length C2 (two below middle C).
Also, the tremolo sul pont has a similar issue with a different pitch.

I'm considering Art Conductor for Studio One and have a quick question. I only own a few libraries, but there are hundreds of libraries in Art Conductor's scroll down list. I asked Babylonwaves if there was a way for me to filter out all of the libraries I don't own. That way, it would be much quicker for me to select the Sound Variations for my few libraries.

Their response was, "You could save the sound variations to a new folder and delete Art Conductor after that."

Has anyone done this? ... and if so, could you pls tell me where the "new folder" would need to be located on my PC, so that Studio One would be able to find it.

Thx

Art Conductor is mainly a collection of files with the Sound Variations of most libraries. You can save a copy of all the sound variations for the future and copy in the folder that manages the sound variations, only the ones you need.

With the download, you will get a document explaining how and where to copy the files.

Rename `🅱️ Art Conductor Studio One.soundset` as `AC.zip`. Unzip it, and the expanded folder should contain all the `*.keyswitch` files directly. You can delete what you don't need and copy the ones you want to your `Studio One/Presets` folder.

@babylonwaves

Hi, I've noticed Synchron Duality Strings doesn't include many of the articulations, for example none of the attack or release variations are available.

It seems that articulations that use more than 2 of the dimension tree slots are not available. Is this just not possible to do using cubase expression maps, or is there another reason why these articulations are not included.

Thank you

The question i have Is why is not possible to buy just some needed articulation maps instead of being forced to purchase the whole package even if i own just 2-3 libraries out of the hundredss included...

I have the same question. Art Conductor Lite or Art Conductor Essentials maybe?

The VSL instruments can be challenging because you won't get access to every nuance, even with three (which we support). In those cases, I try to pick the articulation options which I believe are most important. And, of course, that can be a matter of personal preference.

I would like to chose what I need... I would happily spend 15-20€ for 3 libraries of choice instead of 90 for 700 libraries I will never use

@bosone @hummersallad

We won't do that I'm afraid. We do update maps when instruments get updated, to fix bugs, and to refine things. We don't have the technical tools to distribute single maps on demand.

A light edition is a nice idea, but the definition of light or essential is different for everybody.

I don't know which other libraries I might buy in the future, so I'd rather pay for everything at once. It will be cheaper in the long run. But I can understand why others would feel differently and want to buy a la carte from a menu.
