Issue using exotic scales in presonus studio one midi editor

Open Lane

A Strange Bird.
Hi. I'm trying to compose in the midi score edit section of presonus studio one. I have a number of melodies I've composed in A Hungarian Minor (an A minor scale with a sharped 4 [d] and 7[g])

My problem is that when I go to extend a line by inputting a blank bar into the score to add more to the line, all of the e's turn to E-flats.

Apparently it is assuming because I have the sharped d's notated, I also want e's to display as flat.

Can someone tell me how I can make the DAW allow me to compose with a scale that is notes A,B,C,D#,E,F,G#,A without automatically "correcting" E to Eb and A to Ab
