Cubase : Play from (but do not snap to) last position ?

Hello talented people, I'm in the process of switching from Logic to Cubase. I've searched a fair bit (including this forum) but cannot find a way to emulate the transport setting I have in Logic and really liked. Spacebar stops playback, but does not snap the transport bar back to its initial position. Hitting spacebar again plays back from the initial position. This is actually important, as the "return to start position on stop" option in Cubase means that if you have played a certain amount of material, and auto-scrolled beyond what was visible, when you hit stop to fix something you could suddenly find yourself 100+ bars earlier! Any tips on setting this up in Cubase (without having to set up a marker, c'mon Cubase!) would be most welcome! Thanks

This.

I have assigned the Enter key of the numeric keypad to this command so that it is perfectly accessible with the thumb of the right hand without having to release the mouse. Super handy. :)
Cool - I use the Logitech MX3 which has a lot of configurable buttons so I may well assign one of them to this. Highly recommended if you don't use a mouse like this already. Thanks!
