Hi everyone!
Does anyone know if it's possible to get Art Conductor and MetaGrid Pro running with Multi-timbral instruments by loading up several instruments in one Kontakt instance in Logic (version 10.7.9)? As far as I tried (with Spitfire instruments) MetaGrid and Art Conductor wouldn’t react/influence the libraries when organising them as multi-channels (in order to save CPU in a big template). The Babylonwaves support told me to write here... Has anyone experienced the same kind of struggle?
As far as I understand my MIDI channels all are set up correctly. I've attached two screenshots (timeline & mixer).
Basically everything works fine when single patches are loaded into single stereo Kontakt instances (usually version 6) for each instrument. But when I use the Multi-Output (16xStereo) version with separate AUX-tracks for each instrument, MetaGrid is acting weird and Art Conductor articulation changes are basically not reacting at all. The issues are:
- the response on MetaGrid when switching tracks in Logic is a bit delayed (iPad is connected via cable)
- no response in Kontakt when changing articulations in MetaGrid (iPad) or the Articulation set (Art Conductor) within a Region in Logic
This all happens only within the Multi-Channel setup...
I'm not sure if there is any advanced setting for that case in MetaGrid or Art Conductor?
Or did I miss something else / any another MIDI routing option in Logic? I though I knew how to set up multi-timbral patches and distribute them on several aux channels... No idea what's going wrong
I’m I messing up something? Can anyone help?
Big thanks in advance!
Owen
