VEPro can't find Kontakt 7

Very odd! Cubase sees Kontakt 7 but VEPro cannot find Kontakt 7. It still displays Kontakt 6 as "Kontakt" and looking in VePrO -> Preferences -> Available Plugins -> "Reset and Rescan" did not find Kontakt 7. Oddly it shows up as an AU but not as VST. And I only run VST's here. Running this on a Mac...Anyone experience this issue?

Sorry to revive this thread, but as I noticed yesterday, my VEPRO installation still can‘t find Kontakt 7. Of course I am using the VST3 enabled version of VEPRO. Does someone have an idea?

Still a work in progress it seems. The thing stalled about three VSTs into the VST3 scan, after scanning all the VST2 plugins. I found it useless in regard to VST3, and yes, I'm using the newest version.

In case Kontakt 7 disappears from VEPs plugin list after Kontakt was updated try a complete plugin rescan. I have experienced this behavior a few times myself and already reported it to our devs.
Other than that I'm using VST3 versions of 3rd party plugins whenever available and I did not encounter a single issue so far.

Ben CONSIDER YOURSELF KISSED. That did it!!!!!!!!!!!! (Reset and Rescan All). I had just done the rescan for changes but your suggestion did it!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks a million. I don't know why I updated. :(

Thanks. It worked. :)
Honestly, I try to circumvent a full rescan by all means. It always needs manual intervention due to pop up windows and I can’t leave it unattended.

Didn't work for me. I've done dozens of rescans. I've added almost every folder on the computer to get it to work and it doesn't

No luck for me either after trying Reset and Rescan all. Using VE Pro 7.0.1120 with Kontakt 7.7.3 on PC (Windows 10 Pro v22H2, OS build 19045.3930). I added C:\Program Files, C:\Program Files\Native Instruments, C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 7, C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VSTPlugins 32 bit, C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VSTPlugins 64 bit, even my E:\NI Content folder for good measure. Not sure what else I could try? Thank you!

Kontakt 7 is available as VST3 plugin only, VEP 7.0x does not support VST3 hosting.
You can switch to iLok and update to the latest VEP version in order to use Kontakt 7.

I had to manually uninstall Kontakt 7 from every corner of my computer hard drive and then reinstall. I now have all formats of Kontakt 7 available in VEPro
