I'm not sure if here is the right section for this but it's the closest I can find so please bear with me, or else move it to a more appropriate one.
I have been developing a promotion strategy for my music which involves, among other things, running Facebook ads. I had one ad running for a week when I suddenly started to get warning emails from FB saying that my content had gone against their standards etc. That didn't make any sense as my ad was really simple and innocuous, until I looked into my ad account and discovered someone else's Meta Pixel there alongside my own. Also some charges were incurred on my account which were definitely not due to my usage. So clearly my account had been hacked and the hacker had used it in a way which went against the Community Standards.
In the midst of trying to communicate with Meta about this (a fruitless task not for the faint-hearted), my account was suspended and when I appealed that, it was disabled. Just like that, with no explanation. So I have been unable to access it to seek help or to try and resolve the issue. I have no great attachment to FB and no love of social media generally but I do need to get back into my account in order to develop my ad campaign. I have of course scoured the net looking for solutions and tried all the automated 'help' avenues within FB but they all lead to the same dead end. I have also set up another account with a different email address just to try and communicate with them and to reach a human to discuss it if at all possible but so far no joy. I have sent a few messages through whatever avenues I can find but again have got no response, except the generic/automated one saying that they have already reviewed their decision and that I can no longer appeal it.
So I am wondering if anyone has any experience of this or has any suggestions on how to resolve it? Thanks.
