Hi to all!
I had been reading the forum for some time, but now decided to register as a member.
My name is Jonnhy and Im a 50yo spanish guy, so be patience with my english...
Short (I will try) story about me:
When kid (12 or 13yo) I was studying piano for 3 years. But I stopped because I cant handle the piano classes and my school classes at same time. Some years after I start making my own music with some tracker of that times (Impulse Tracker, Fast Tracker...) and using the free samples that comes with some magazines. Short period as a DJ comes then...
Finally I start working in audiovisuals (video editing, motion graphics, 3D animations...) for about 20 years, and still working. So always I was very connected with audio production for tv and media. Not big tasks, but you know... some editing for make my own versions of already make themes and adjust to the lenght of my work, production of voice recording and editing for some tv commercials, and music sonorization for videos.
But now I want to recover my love for the music production, and I want to start again in this area in a more artistic way, just for hobby.
In part because I cant live without music. And in part for some personal and difficult times recently passed. I need to search ways to keep calm and stay relaxed.
And If I enjoy listen music, I thought that making them (or try at least) would be nice.
So I had made some investiments in some very modest gear. I bought recently a pair of Presonus Eris E5 XT studio monitors and a Novation Launchkey 88 MK3 midi keyboard that Im currently trying to learn about. And after many time working with FL Studio Im playing with Cubase now.
My favorite gender in this area is nordic, viking dark, folk, epic fantasy and all related about. In fact, my look is all except spanish... XD
And I love travel for wildlife photography!
Sure I will learn a lot here, and I will try to help that I can in my modest capabilities.
