What's new

This introduction to Audio Imperia can save you research time.

Takes seconds to set up this way

Sorry for the super low volume. Nothing special happening though.

But a button would be more practical of course.

Btw, I'm pitching 2 semi tones because most libraries are sampled in half-steps (if that's the right terminology).
If it's sampled chromatically 1 semi tone works too. If only every third pitch was sampled it must be 3 semi tones. And so on.

Yup! I’m aware. The cool thing about the button is it also moves the playable range by the amount of steps transposed so you retain the original playable range.

yea, but that can be done with midi transpose like I did in the video. I'm sure all DAW's have a similar function.

Why transpose in the DAW when you can do it through the Kontakt instrument options? It works with locked libraries too.
Sometimes the Kontakt transpose option breaks things somehow. It reduces the playable range (I think by the amount transposed) sometimes so I can't reach the high/lower keys anymore.
I'd just try it with more aggressive settings and see what happens. Maybe depends on the library too.
Since I don't want to troubleshoot every time I just do it in the DAW now.

And things breaking like this (including stuff like the release samples not accepting the transposition) is precisely why I appreciate it when devs add a built-in Transpose option to the instrument itself.

Thankfully, at least with the products I already have from them (Areia, Solo), Audio Imperia is one such dev. Absolutely wonderful feature for stacking Multis. Took me a bit to find it, but it's tucked away here, in the Advanced interface - where the Velocity Curve is by default:

Just wanted to generally mention it in case someone doesn't know yet.

Thank you for the support!

We spend a good amount of time each year updating the existing catalog actually. Just as an example:

2020: Free Kontakt Player updates for existing owners of Talos, Cerberus, Trailer Guitars 2, Legacy, and Jaeger (which also got a content update). This round of updates in itself took up a good portion of the year.
2021: Free Content Update for Nucleus
2022: Free Content Update for Nucleus again and free Kontakt Player updates for existing owners of Photosynthesis, Klavier, and Artifact Reanimate. Another incredibly time-consuming update period, as it meant consolidating 7 products into 3 products with completely different engines all of which had to be reworked.

So just in the last 3 years alone, we did a total of 10 product updates. Totally understandable that people get frustrated once an expectation for an update is set and that is 100% on me (Jan) as I announced it too early and am now paying the price for being all excited about it (and getting ahead of myself). Lesson very well learned haha.

All we can ask for is understanding and patience as we're working away on the next round of updates as quickly as we can (yes, including Areia. I just don't wanna give too much away at this point and get myself in trouble again :D).
Where is a changelog for Jaeger?
