Move the original Areia to another drive or desktop(or simply delete it if you are going to only use the new version) , then open Kontakt to make sure it giving you get the missing library error for Areia. Go into Native Access and click the refresh button on top and Areia should now show needs repair. Click the 3 dots next to repair and select reinstall.I'm trying to do the update per instructions in AI's email. When I go to Areia in Native Access to initiate the reinstall, it's showing Areia as 1.1, not 1.2. Not sure if this simply shows the version that was previously installed or not. Do I just go ahead and reinstall and it'll end up being 1.2 or do we need to wait for it to show in Native Access? Thanks.
Gotcha! Here's a quick demo. Classic Mix, no reverb, no processing. Sample Start set to -250 ms and Legato Smoothing set to 0.Yes I watched it! But was interested if there was any demo songs with it all in context to go with the walkthrough which was all noodling single lines.
They will credit your lite purchase price toward full product if you shoot them an email.Any upgrade from Areia Lite ?
Alchemedia….Thank you !They will credit your lite purchase price toward full product if you shoot them an email.
Doesn't seem to be an issue to my ears, but here's the same example with no vibrato to judge for yourself.Transitions sound a bit louder than the sustains, but that should be easily fixed if the library is unlocked. Overall they sound good to my ears. @Trash Panda do you hear a lot of vibrato in the transitions themselves when playing non vib?
I had never owned it before and got it for $169 with cross grade, I'd always been interested in it. (this is JUST areia)Any more user demos with the legato update?
Thank you mate, interesting demo - while I can hear the (same) vibrato rate of all instruments I would also be interested in a comparison with Duality as I own it as well.I had never owned it before and got it for $169 with cross grade, I'd always been interested in it. (this is JUST areia)
We can go to the sample talk Areia thread and I’ll post it there!Thank you mate, interesting demo - while I can hear the (same) vibrato rate of all instruments I would also be interested in a comparison with Duality as I own it as well.
Of course, since it's the official AI thread, sorry for that.We can go to the sample talk Areia thread and I’ll post it there!
I wanna tweak it more too, I am very sick atm and my ears are stuffed from sinus pressure and it’s hard to properly hear anything. Listening back to that, I was using a mix of mic positions instead of classic or modern, and maybe too much close mic. I’m gonna tweak it and reupload later to give a better idea of the library soundOf course, since it's the official AI thread, sorry for that.
I’ve emailed them probably 5 times either for crossgrade discounts or support questions and always get an answer within 24 hrs on weekdays.Does Audio Imperia ever respond to support questions sent by email? They never did to mine: in 2021, 2022, and now yesterday. So I never bothered getting anything from them besides Areia Lite. Yesterday was the third time that I asked about something and never got any response so I don't think I will take advantage of any of their sales or upgrades.
