This is what i'm doing now, thanks! They do, I tested it 30 days before I bought it. Users could use the trial version to open V2, save presets for the plugins and then import them into their DAW of choice

Thank you so much! This is incredible, Rico! Thank you for all your hard work, and thanks to @ERIC VALETTE for creating this awesome mock-up of one of my all-time favorite film cues. Excited to dig into the new template!
You can, but its a pretty long and not so fun process then. You can open it in Vienna and remake it bit by bit to get the same sound for sure.@ricoderks Thank you for this release! I got VEP a while back but on a 64gb ram machine I found it actually performed worse that just running a Cubase template. Is it possible to duplicate routing and setup of the VEP template as a Cubase setup? I will of course do the setup on my side, but just wondering if it's possible to achieve the same results in Cubase or if there are unique setups in VEP that can't be done in Cubase.
Yes not in the original Project Colossal, only in the expansion 2.0 to get the absolute maximum depth out of these libraries. Is the Main mics also ditched on the woodwinds?
Thank you so much!
It is also one of my favorite tracks among all and a real pleasure to have been able to achieve it with such great tools!
The experience has also been very rewarding because our back and forth with @ricoderks during the construction of this demo has noticeably changed the general sound of the PCT 2.0 towards something a little less bright, with a more "warmer" and "vintage" sound quality, with a better "presence" than in the very first versions of the free expansion project, for a general result really very pleasing to the ear
To illustrate this process, here's a short mockup that I programmed of "Binary Sunset" taken from Star Wars, the first excerpt dating from the start of the beta test phase a few months ago, and the second dating from the end, just before the official release of the expansion. You'll notice, especially on the strings but also for the others sections, the overall lovely change in the character of the sound

Thanks also to @rlundv who supported all the successive listenings of the different versions of these mockups and for his feedback!
Thanks again!Wow, that’s quite a difference! It’s neat how the writing process lended itself to the mixing and tonal balance of the template as a whole. I’m a total sap when it comes to vintage orchestral recordings, so I’m a happy camper. I totally respect if you’d like to keep your HP/SW mock-ups for personal reasons, but I’d love if users could have a look at one of the PC demo project files for study purposes or at least hear your thoughts on what got you there. Stellar work!
Would there be any chance…I mean even a tiny one to get those in Logic Pro? That would be like winning the lotteryThanks again!
With @ricoderks , we'll make available the Cubase session files for these 2 mockups ("Leaving Hogwarts" and "Binary Sunset") in the next few days, only on the private user group on Facebook. The time to prepare the files (in particular freezing the tracks of the few complementary instruments which are not in the CSS series, mainly the percussions and the harps...).
Have a lot of fun with the template and its expansion!
Nope, lol. Only the midi then I suppose, without the automation of the close mic.Would there be any chance…I mean even a tiny one to get those in Logic Pro? That would be like winning the lottery
Thank you so much Matthias!@ERIC VALETTE @ricoderks nice job on the expansion. The Leaving Hogwarts demo is very impressive! Well done!
I couldn't help but notice a few things in the binary sunset though. To not detract from the purpose of this thread too much I've tucked the comments in a spoiler.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm beginning to suspect there is some midi file of that piece out there that's wrong, because I keep encountering the same errors when people mock up this piece.
1. The strings at the start should be tremolando, not sustained. Maybe the mockup is actually using tremolos but they're kind of smeared out in the mix, I can't tell with complete certainty.
2. There is a bassoon accompanying the flute in the first few bars (admittedly it is barely audible in the LSO recording, but it is there). I don't think that's in this mockup?
3. Horns are playing a quarters and quavers tenuto pulse underneath the climax (bar 6-10). I think that's missing here?
The only reason I'm even bringing this up is because I once spent way too much time sweating over this piece myself. Not trying to take away from the mockup itself, or the sound! And I guess it is also good to know that online MIDI files (if one was indeed used, I obviously don't know) cannot be relied upon to be accurate.
Respect for doing them by ear! The honor is all mine haha.Thank you so much Matthias!
It's actually fun because I made the 2 mockups ("Leaving Hogwarts" and "Binary Sunset") entirely by ear, the first based on the official OST, the second on an already existing mockup found on YouTube that I like it very much, itself clearly taken from some MIDI file found on the net.
This second Star Wars demo not being intended to be anything other than one of the many tests of the general sound of the template, I did not deepen it further to make it an absolutely faithful reproduction of the original piece. But you're absolutely right, I rechecked today with the original OST, and the differences you mention are indeed all correct ha ha!
Ps: very honored that you appreciate, the first posted demos, of CSB in particular, of the "Project Anvil" totally amazed me a year or two ago! From memory, there was also a great demo of "Binary Sunset" made by you in a teaser I think!
@ricoderks any chance of getting the Sound Delay presets for those of us for whom VEP doesn't load the plugin correctly?A couple questions:
1) Has anyone figured out a way to use the VEP expansion with Logic without needing to do surgery on the VEP project? Namely, the woodwind instance seems to need more than 8 ports in terms of how it’s expecting to be routed and even with AU3 (which is buggy as hell in Logic 10.7.5) Im not sure how I’m supposed to access a 9th port and beyond.
2) I installed Sound Delay as directed (and its validated fine in VEP) but when opening the VEP project the plugin doesn’t load on the respective channels and when I do then load it manually, it understandably just defaults to it’s inital state. Any one else having similar issues?
Ill add it to my to do list, eventually all presets will be available. But ot takes a while to make them and organize them.@ricoderks any chance of getting the Sound Delay presets for those of us for whom VEP doesn't load the plugin correctly?
