Personally I don’t think this library is really set up for quartet writing per se, though I imagine the Intimate Viola would make a lovely backing track for the Bell Violin. The thing that’s great about this library is the emphasis on the soft dynamics and the intimacy that can be achieved from the super close mics. It’s all so delicate, fragile, and magical.I don't pay much attention to new VI's & samples anymore, so I missed this. But wow, I'm pretty blown away by the warmth and depth, and rustic organic character of the tone, and, ALAS, it is still on sale until the 10th, so it looks like I don't have the excuse of missing the sale to avoid spending the money. Plus, FULL Kontakt (Yay! No NA nonsense!) and the price seems much more than reasonable.
...Q: In anyone's opinion, does this mesh well with Embertone's Josh Bell Violin for assembling parts for a string quartet?
I had an amazing time playing through this on Friday. Here is when I start talking about Intimate Viola. *Bunker Samples provided a copy for my joyful journey and it truly was a great experience exploring this.
No there’s no legato. With the studio time I had available legato would have been the only thing I could do - legato in solo string is incredibly difficult and time consuming to do well, so it was doing this or just legato and nothing else.I'm very interested in this! Does it have a legato mode?
In the middle of launching the winter sale, literally still updating the website, so haven't announced it yet. You must have visited the website right after I adjusted the price. It will run until January 3rd.How long is the sale now? Is it too late to pull trigger next week? Says

Plan to run that a few more days? Might get myself a Christmas present (Iremia viola)
