Very minimal noodle (very minimal) that uses just a touch of the 1st chairs (with an even smaller touch of the Salu Cello), yet for all that you can just about count the number of actual notes used on your fingers, I think it shows a glimpse something right at the heart of the musicality of this library.

That's right. The timbre is so magical (and has so much depth) that it is itself a source of inspiration. I like the piece, well done!

I will soon share a playlist of pieces I composed with this library, to show its flexibility.

Beautiful. Delicate yet evocative. Both riveting composition and execution make a delectable demonstration of the bespoke musical tool.

I'm thinking of picking up 3 or 4 instruments ala carte, was going to go the predictable path of Violins 1/Celli/Violin 1 First Chair/Celli First Chair but what would be your recommendations?

Well, they're all great.

And of course it depends entirely on what you're looking for.

But if I had to pick just 3, one path would be to start with the first chairs Vl I - just because they are *so* singular to the sound of this library in particular, and the topos of Vasks in general. Then add the FC viola. Because, while this isn't a string quartet library by any means, the Vl + Va still blend quite breathtakingly.

Then maybe the ensemble cellos. Which would give you a base upon which the FC Vl + Va will sound amazing.

But of course, there are lots of other paths that each distill entirely different worlds of sweet spots.

I'm very glad that I got all of these strings. I use them in the mockup that I posted in that section. They were not the only ones that I use but they were very important to the overall tone of the string ensemble. There was no substitute to replace what these were doing.
