The definitive organ for film scoring: Millennium Organ - SoundOnSound Special!

So thanks for your input @annatar ! Just one question: When you say "might be able to help", is it in terms of logistics? Most of time that's the most difficult part, where it's about reserving the place for a certain time, knowing the right people to talk to etc...
yep! i can't say i'm sure how they'd respond to a sampling request but i could at least get the right people to listen. maybe at a few other spots around the new york area too

I would be thrilled to see more high-quality organs sampled for those of us that don't want to bother with setting up Hauptwerk as well! It may be a more niche instrument, but there is such lovely variety of sound from one organ/space to another that more of them deserve to be sampled... And sampled in excellent form like this one!

+1
That's the thing. Hauptwerk targets a whole different crowd from what I understand so far: organists who play concerts with dedicated virtual organ hardware. And that's a too steep learning curve for me and surely a lot of us (so please continue making those!)

This one is literally the most pleasing I've had so far, despite collecting lots and lots of organ libraries since a decade (at least). Btw, just checked the website to read the PDF manual in case I missed something, and I must say: nice x-mas banner Maxime :) I used to work in an ads agency before going full time with production music. Reminds me of some good ol' days where I had to optimize websites of some pretty weird stuff.

I can already see it... a green version of that second library tab, "The Green Monster - Dutch Organ"
Haha that would indeed fit well with the rest!

The church does have a great reverb. Many CDs have been recorded on the organ and just the other day my son and I attended a little concert of a string quartet playing Hans Zimmer pieces, which sounded gorgeous.
I can totally imagine. That reverb thing makes me think of the Majestic Horn, and it certainly contributed a lot to its popularity - back then (in 2017 already!) I picked up a church which really added up to the performance. And in this YouTube video you sent it's clear the acoustic is phenomenal :) Thanks for the inspiration, love getting inspired and having new ideas!

Amazing, good to know that. For Millennium I was lucky enough to know the right people, kind of like what you just said - & indeed that makes a lot much easier.

Check this:

Sad he didn't play the piece from A-Z on one go, but I love his content on his channel. Y'all should check his full review of the millennium organ, I wish more youtubers did a review/demo for it as it seems to be one of the most surprising libraries of 2023. By no means it's revolutionary IMO, but it's for me the most easy to use organ I've had and has the most pleasing sound. Something to keep as a reference for future libs!

Even though I already have all libraries, the x-mas prices are working on my end. Nice top banner again, Maxime :) One suggestion: Like the "Sale starts in (...)" countdown, you could make an "Ends in (...)" countdown too. That's some stuff we used to do back then and was quite effective to caught people's attention. Good luck for this Christmas sale and looking forward to new streamtech libraries in 2024!

Christmas prices are up! For a limited time only.

We have:

- Millennium French Organ for €49
- Iconic Violin for €79
- Bundle (Millennium + Violin) for €99

One suggestion: Like the "Sale starts in (...)" countdown, you could make an "Ends in (...)" countdown too.
Will do! Thanks for your input. I am very new to this whole website design thing, but like kind of everything I learn in this entrepreneurship, I just love learning and improving everything little by little. The countdown I had before was simply some HTML pre-made banner, so nothing fancy and I just had to replace the text by my own stuff. But I guess if I can program a multi-mic legato library, I can perhaps learn how to make my own countdown animation

Same, I live in Sweden so if there are any organs near Stockholm which you'be interested in, just hit me up. I know some organists who could help, and we have a lot of brilliant places to record. The most amazing thing would of course be to record the Konserthuset organ, but not sure I can help for that one:whistling:

Hi @vienthousiast , thanks! I'm just coming back from holidays (after 2023 I for sure needed a break!) and what you say sounds like a cool idea. So why not, I'm always open to record stuff with people who have great ideas.

Thanks @doctoremmet ! And big thank you to @gcorcella for the review :)

And I am glad to announce we have a few more in-context videos coming up next week! Notably from other YouTube channels which I respect a lot. So I'm quite humbled by the positive impression this project has made so far, thanks all for your comments and big support!

New unbiased review from a joe-blog composer:

He also compares it to OT's free crucible library, but the two organs really are so different that it's IMO more about what you get from a paid software VS freeware.

Many thanks to him! I find it great to see it compared with something from my former colleagues at OT :)
At least he’s honest
I prefer unbiased reviews anyways, especially for my own libraries. Then I know what we can improve for future libs - and we can aim to release the best of the best libraries!

Very glad that Pete Calandra gave it a go. In those 2:54 minutes he shows a lot of different timbres and registrations which I didn't feature that much yet. And I still gotta say, it's just so nice when composers review / play with a library of mine with the total freedom of being 100% honest!

Anyways, back to my editing session now... I am cooking something special which builds upon one my most popular projects so far:)
