It has gotten quiet (again) in terms of any news to his libraries, especially since the last CSS update. Not that Alex has ever been very vocal in this regard. Especially compared to the super regular updates / clips and audio examples Jasper Blunk (also a one man show) shared in recent months.
Honestly though I don't know if I wanna get teased so much. Just hope Alex is well and I'm gonna be happy whenever that next release day comes. I'm overall very satisfied with the Cinematic Studio libraries as they already are, with only CSSS being a weak part (compared to the rest).

Very interesting. just a hobbies here who has often used Albion one's great sounding woodwinds patch. Is it possible to use open a Kontakt patch, add the woodwind instruments of your choice, select the same articulation for each, adjust the volume and panning of each, and then save it as a patch? And then you could create several, each with a different articulation.
