Direct from WA/Dan Byers.Where do you get this info? I ask because I bought Drumvolution and it was effectively abandoned for Triaz. No updates or anything.

Try messaging WA directly through their website contact link. They should be able to provide you with a discount code on the bundle based on what you've already purchased. He didn't reply to me at all whatever I did..
Thinking I might pick up triaz though, or if he has a good price on the bundle upgrade having both the other drums..
£49 sale for the new Beat Lab pack (around 30,000 sounds in total sourced from 30+ drum machines) with the Pulse verb included for free...and the demos, as always with WA, sound fantastic. After using Wave Wallet credit, the total was only £22.I might skip Triaz, get the 30,000 drum samples and free Pulse reverb for 50 GBP, instead. Hmm.

I went for it. I'll be auditioning drum samples for the rest of my life.
Atlas is great. Also XO. Much of my electronic kit creation is based on setting a beat in one of those programs and then cycling through randomized kit configurations, often based on a particular folder/map of interest, until a combination sounds just right. Then using that kit configuration as inspiration to develop the beat further.I did, too.
I use Algonaut Atlas. It's rebuilding my mega drum map (50 GB? 100 GB of drums?) as I write this. That way I don't audition anything - I just have it choose one at random until I like it well enough and then move on
Next up: making a map just for Beat Lab.
I still want Triaz, but... I can wait at least a week or two.
All I can say is that Dan told me that Beat Lab is completely different (wet) vs the Complete Drums 2 bundle (dry).Always been enticed ,even as WvAlc have conufused peeps through namingconventions,
I know theyre considerred good, but in a studio the contains Breaktweaker EX, UVI DD, Damage, BIgBang, BIgDrums, MAD RS & RF, EZD 2, SC Elektro Acoustic, among some others, where do they find they fit, and what stands them apart?
For me, WA hits the electronic drums sweet spot. Their samples are (very) extensive and sound great in a mix with minimal processing. I appreciate the features and flexibility of the sequencer in TRIAZ and the factory patterns are inventive and useful - and there a lot of them.Always been enticed ,even as WvAlc have conufused peeps through namingconventions,

Contact WA...I would bet they'll take care of you.Goddammit..
Bought the bundle, then said I'd get the beat lab, as I had 28 in my wallet..
Never hit "apply wallet "..
Dan provided a unique discount code to me on the Instrument Bundle package for having previously purchased TRIAZ and Complete Drums 2, even though the latter isn't in the bundle. Can't hurt to contact WA and ask, if you're interested in completing the bundle.Well, I just bought Triaz today and after playing with it just a few minutes I'm very impressed. I'm going on a trip soon and taking a bare-bones setup with a just a laptop, headphones, and a tiny MIDI controller, so I'm going to try to take the opportunity to spend some quality time learning it.
I jumped on the sale price but I totally missed the package with Revolution and Drumvolution! Kicking myself a bit for not noticing that... but honestly, I should probably just stick with Triaz for now and actually take the time to learn it without bogging myself down with option paralysis (any more than is inevitable).
How do you set up your maps?..I've a few from maschine, battery etc, but they're probably too big..I'm thinking smaller ones might be better..and a big massive ove too..Atlas is great. Also XO. Let me know what you think of TRIAZ after your pick it up.
I currently have a map for each sample collection that I want to be able discreetly target for kit creation, so for simplicity that typically means a map per sample folder. For example, WA's Complete Drums 2 bundle works out to be a total of 16 maps. If I want to pull samples from multiple collections while randomizing kits, it's easy enough to build a new map that combines the samples from those collections. How do you set up your maps?..I've a few from maschine, battery etc, but they're probably too big..I'm thinking smaller ones might be better..and a big massive ove too..
Atlas is savage altogether..

Is this rumored native version for Drumvolution or Triaz?Dan told me today, ' The new native version coming quite soon is much better, including improved CPU usage, resizable windows, and tons of feature enhancements and better DSP.'
He confirmed that the Native version is due very soon and will be free for existing users.
XO provides a little more convenience about this because it allows the user to check/uncheck folders to load into the map, so various combinations of sample folders can be used. In practice I find myself often juggling both XO and Atlas to randomize samples since to my ears it's all about how a sample sounds in the context of a full kit and the beat.Yeah, that sounds a bit better than my way..
Must go at them again..
The forthcoming native version is for TRIAZ and will be a free update for existing users. I haven't heard anything about a native update for Drumvolution. Is this rumored native version for Drumvolution or Triaz?
These are all new to me, and there appears to be a lot of overlap between Wave Alchemy's three drum machine varieties currently on sale, but Triaz looks like the one to get, at least based on a very cursory overview and comparison.
A native Triaz is far more appealing to me than a Kontakt Player Triaz, but for the sale price I'm tempted, especially if a native version is on the horizon and the update is free.

Thanks for confirming my take on how these three compare.Do you want classic 80s drum machines? Get Revolution.
Do want a modern drum machine? Get Triaz.
Ignore Drumvolution.
