To add a little actual content here (if only speculation), I’m apparently different than much of this thread (and seemingly Jasper himself); I’m more interested in his woodwinds (the little we’ve heard sounds incredible) than his strings and more interested in the rest of Pacific than Vista II, even with all the demos. This is because I feel like sampled/modeled strings are more mature than the rest of the core orchestra and Vista II, while sounding very nice, reads to me like more of a grab bag of a toolkit than anything approaching a workhorse library. It will be interesting to see if I’m right or wrong here.

I heard some artifacts in the woodwind demos; that tail bleed from the previous note you can hear in the strings' shorts.
