If you are the same customer who emailed us, per my email I am happy to grant a refund if you feel the library is unusable. Our demos & videos DO use the hall mics - just turned down - and the other three positions do not have any issues whatsoever. So I stumble across this page after being fooled into buying this piano plugin. The developer puts out a product that they know has an issue and never mentions it anywhere on the website. Then comments on this page like "oh we tried ...sorry about that" type of an attitude. That is inexcusable. Not to mention some of the bass notes have been horribly sampled! Pretty much the whole octave of c2 to c3 sounds more like a bass guitar than a piano. This is such a shame as the rest of the piano has some fine sampling. If I wanted to have to tweak things and experiment there are plenty of other free plugins I can do that with. That is not what I payed money for though. So if you don't mind having to waste your time processing and tweaking things that shouldn't have to be tweaked then you will be ok, but I expect better than this. Time is too valuable to waste on creating "work arounds".
Even without any electrical noise, to be clear, I wouldn't recommend cranking the hall mics all the way up because they are very distant from the piano. It simply doesn't make sense from a mixing perspective to do that. I prefer having the close & stage mics loudest and the hall mics in the -30db range.
