Ok, that's a bit of a shame for all of us who missed the Adachi train. I think I read some stuff works with the Anthology files but not all of it. The again, Anthology/Adagio 2.0 still sounds pretty good for what it is.Well, when I got version 2.0 I asked for the Legacy files and got this reply:
"We no longer offer the legacy versions due to their extreme age."
Due to "extreme age" it sounds more like an excuse not to tell the real reason.
Yeah, I'm certainly not an expert on Strings libs but I'm always looking for the ability to make it sound as good as possible…Ok, that's a bit of a shame for all of us who missed the Adachi train. That's strange, because they appeared in the download section of my account after they updated their website. They are listed under "Archive". Knowing that they are keeping them available on their server space to download for people who've purchased them in the past, it is very strange that they would deny new customers access.Well, when I got version 2.0 I asked for the Legacy files and got this reply:

Yep. Same here. They are available for download if I were to need them. That's strange, because they appeared in the download section of my account after they updated their website. The support have told me that they are removed from the server so now way for me to download them... There is no "Archive" section under my account...That's strange, because they appeared in the download section of my account after they updated their website. They are listed under "Archive". If previous years are anything to go by, their prices will go to the full price till the summer sales start. Lacrimosa will go to $495 for instance. On the website now they have written that prices are going up at the end of current discounts... so back to previous prices ?
Indeed. What I don't know is if in the summer they would discount some products even more and I would end up paying more now than waiting. Or if the current discounts are going to be the lowest prices ever for their products and that's it.I got the email today as well about the extension of the holiday sales. They are hoping for more cash flow because once this sale is over the revenue will all but die until the next crazy flash sale. This is what happens when you devalue your products for over 2 months straight. No one in their right mind is going to make a purchase when this sale is over.....or at least not until the next flash sale.
I think 8Dio flash sales will get crazier. I've never seen a major VI company bleed themselves this dry before. For example.....selling Insolidus and Silka for $98 ($49 each) is insane. They are worth more than that, but the problem is that they have been flashsaled so many times now, that pretty much everyone who is going to buy them has now done so. I bought Silka years ago for $198 (flash sale) and have used it extensively....I thought it was a fair price at the time.Indeed. What I don't know is if in the summer they would discount some products even more and I would end up paying more now than waiting. Yeah this is a crazy deal.Century Strings plus Sordino plus both Ostinatos and Harp for 98$..

do you have these? I got the century brass and always liked the sound, but rarely use them, as they need some work setting up the keyswitches and basically a template..Yeah this is a crazy deal.
Century Strings is the same workflowdo you have these? I got the century brass and always liked the sound, but rarely use them, as they need some work setting up the keyswitches and basically a template..
I only have the first group of string ostinatos.do you have these? I got the century brass and always liked the sound, but rarely use them, as they need some work setting up the keyswitches and basically a template..
I'm also looking at these now. I'm wondering if it's any improvement, both workflow-wise and sonically, to Anthology/Agitato. What stops me from getting Soundpaint versions is usually the vastly larger amount of disk space required, but for some reason the Adastra Violins seem to take about the same space as Adagio Violins.Meanwhile I’m looking at the Adastra chamber strings over on Soundpaint for $30.
