Better late than never ...
Louis Cole showed us his love of thinking faster than most of us by taking high-speed off-beat 32nd notes in his stride on the kick drum in his short piece, Drum Solo.
(That video notates one bar as two to make things easier on the eyes, making 32nds 16ths, but the point is, at the speed he's playing, he creates subdivisions that are about twice as fast as most people think about. I've seen it notated as 32nds in another YouTube video.)
Today, Knower has messed with us again by using a riff that's just off triplet-feel 12/8 in the form of accenting every third 32nd note instead - with a 32nd-note jazz piano solo over the top - I mean, of course.
Oh, and with an orchestra as well.
All recorded in a house as usual.
