MUSIC: What are you listening to ? ?

Christopher Young's The Piper score (2023) and it's fricking phenomenal. this is Young in his element. Horror has always suited him and he's created an incredible work fashioned into a concerto for Flute and Orchestra. Simply amazing.

"The main thing that I learned about conspiracy theories, is that conspiracy theorists believe in a conspiracy because that is more comforting. The truth of the world is that it is actually chaotic. The truth is that it is not The Illuminati, or The Jewish Banking Conspiracy, or the Gray Alien Theory. The truth is far more frightening - Nobody is in control. The world is rudderless.” -- The Mindscape of Alan Moore (2003)

Some great Japanese jazz fusion. The bass solo in this is one of my favorite bass solos I've ever heard.

Recently discovered Mouse on the Keys and love their style. I believe they are labeled as a post-rock band but they do a combination of jazz, funk, math rock, and even some electronic as well. Super cool.
