Agreed - the M1 Air is fantastic (I have one, though not for StaffPad); since it has an M1 w/8GB RAM, it should be a better option than an earlier iPad Pro (as long as you don't need more than 256GB of storage). There will probably be new iPad Air M2 models released around March, including a new 12.9" model, to give a budget option to the new M3 iPad Pros coming with OLED screens.I think the Air is as close to pro level as you can get. The new one outperforms my 2020 11” pro.
Yeah my 2020 iPad only has 6gb.
