What is the cheapest iPad that can be used for StaffPad in 2021?

You might consider the complexity and length of your scores when considering which iPad is suitable, as I've read here that certain very fully orchestrated scores, or scores beyond a certain length, can run into what appear to be memory problems.

Agreed - the M1 Air is fantastic (I have one, though not for StaffPad); since it has an M1 w/8GB RAM, it should be a better option than an earlier iPad Pro (as long as you don't need more than 256GB of storage). There will probably be new iPad Air M2 models released around March, including a new 12.9" model, to give a budget option to the new M3 iPad Pros coming with OLED screens.

Yeah my 2020 iPad only has 6gb. Dorico for iOS tells me it won’t load Iconica sketch because it thinks I only have 4gb of ram.. nice one Steinberg…
