Star Wars Jedi: Survivor complete score available for download!

Rob - your mockups sound great!

I also thought I'd have a go at the cue that really struck me early in the game - "Dark times"

I know orchestration but I guess I kinda wondered if there were any short cuts in these extraordinarily long games OSTs.. the answer is a resounding no. I know these people have teams but good heavens it's a lot of dots even for a cue of just two minutes.

PS Interesting that the main theme is similar to the tail end of Rey's Theme. Almost impossible not to when trying to fit into the JW Starwars musiciverse!

thanks Steve! Yours is excellent too... the theme above curiously reminded me of the prelude from the Carmen suite by Bizet, same melodic profile :)

Ah yes - with the annoying second trumpet/cornet note that you have to fake on Bb instruments !

I guess only difference melodic contour wise is that the final note in the Bizet is lower than the auxiliary notes (or whatever one might call them) which is not the case with the text two. Anyway - potato, potato (doesn’t work written down does it) - all three are great!

Thought this might be of interest to the good folks here. :)

Saw on Twitter that Stephen Barton, Gordy Haab and the rest of the music team for Jedi: Survivor have somehow managed to bring the complete score to be available for download.

A very rare thing, I think.

Thanks so much to everyone involved in getting this released and to you for sharing it with us!

19 brass players -- wonderful sound, eh? (unless the Euphoniums are just doubles -- doesn't look like it but haven't scanned the score enough to be sure)

Thanks, is there audio to listen to that's marked by the cues/names in this score sheet?
I was wondering the same thing myself. I didn't see a very easy or straightforward way to map the in-game queue names (e.g. "UnderworldTraversal2BodeCiG_v07" and the like) to the recorded OST so I wasn't sure if there's really any way to listen to the notated music outside of playing the game?

Ditto.

The frequent change in time signatures I found interesting. Lots of changes between 4/4, 2/4 etc. Is this common practice or a technique to give some pauses between or extend a bit before the climax?
