That's why Nonezero is polarizing ... as Ozzy too ... some like him, some hate him...., not being an Ozzy fan, this isn't exactly a positive thing.
I personally like both, but if I hear too much of them, they get annoying

Yes, you can use takes. Copy your track a bunch of times and use takes to change the interpretation slightly. You can also add some manual changes using the Parameter and Voice Mode sliders. With these, small movements go a long way. The takes solution gives you a super quick and effective method though. For any synth v gurus out there, is there a way to randomize pitch and timing? I'm doing a choir with various synth voices and as of now I'm just using melodyne to provide randomized functions but wondered if you can do it within synthesizer v.
New song with Saros and Solaria backing up. Absolutely loving Saros's timbre.
I had a bit of a change of mind on Sheena today. I started my RPM challenge, and decided to try to start writing my first song with Sheena. I don't have much done yet (just a verse), but I'm really happy with how she sounds for this one. Don't mind the first eight. It's day one for the writing on this song.

I use a Mac and dammit, it's hard to see those lines. And that's on a Macbook Pro screen, which is generally excellent. But then again, I'm getting older...That seems to be mainly a Windows problem, because of the higher monitor gamma. On a Mac I don't have that problem.
In the SynthV forum is already a feature request about that.
Useful information, @ThomasS - thank you. A 1/6 quarter gives me the triplet-per-eighth-note that I wanted, though it would be nice if SynthV switched the Snap and View options to be based on the lower number of the time signature. If you set the resolution to 1/6 quarter note and the time signature to 4/4 , you will get 24 little boxes per bar, (in other words 6 boxes per beat.) Therefore a triplet will be two little boxes for each triplet note, and a shuffle/swing of two eighth notes might be 4+2 (boxes per beat). This will be a standard swing dividing the beat into three equal subdivisions. More nuanced swings, with different ratios are more easily programmed in a DAW or notation program that handles this, and the MIDI output of them will import into Synth V if you want a different swing feel.
Not only you ... keyword reading glassesBut then again, I'm getting older...
If you want the snap view to be the same as the lower number of the time signature, in 4/4 set it to "full quarter" and there will be four boxes per bar. If there is an 8 at the bottom (6/8, 12/8 etc) then select 1/2 quarter and there will be the same number of beats per bar as the bottom number. It won't do it automatically, so you have to manually do it. What is annoying is that you should be able to select the default duration of a note you click to enter. Instead, no matter what the time or meter settings, you always get a quarter note if you click to enter, so you have to get used to not letting go of the left mouse button to size it when entering.it would be nice if SynthV switched the Snap and View options to be based on the lower number of the time signature.
No there isn't, but I talked to the team about it asking for separate setting of snap and visible lines. And also, that they use normal time division like 1/16 and not 1/4 of a quarter. I hope it comes soon, they are working on UI updates. Is there a way to have quarter note or eighth note lines displayed while simultaneously having snap off? It seems utterly ridiculous if there isn't. I want to nudge some notes closer to being in time without making them perfectly in time.
Going to an absurdly small grid division is a partial workaround, but it doesn't differentiate quarter note (or other non-whole-note) grid divisions, so I'd have to count a bunch of tiny lines to figure out where the quarter notes or eighth notes are.
Thanks. Song is not finished in terms of arrangement and details, but I think I'm settled on the lyrics and basic performance from Sheena. I must say, I'm delighted with her performance on this. This is going great. Looking forward to hear where you end up with this song.
