I'm still on the fence. I have V Collection 8 and also the CS-80 V 4 (which was an insane freeby I got somewhere for spending over 100 I believe) and my offer is 299.
I think upgrading would give me:
Minifreak V
Acid V
CP-70 V
SQ-80 V
Korg MS-20 V
Augmentend Voices, Brass, Woodwinds, Strings and Piano
Prophet-5 V upgrade
Prophet VS V upgrade
Mini V 4 upgrade
Piano V 3 upgrade
Wurli V 3 upgrade
(I already have the CS-80 V 4 upgrade)
All upgrades seem to offer a considerable improvement as far as I can tell based on demos. Actually the upgrades are more important to me than the new instruments.
So in my case that's 15 new and upgraded instruments for about 20 Euro a piece. That's quit a good price. I've only spend 160 Euro on Arturia so far, so all things considered I'm not overpaying by a long shot.
On the other hand in about 10 months just before BF there's probably going to come an upgrade offer for 99 or 149 or something. But then again maybe that will only happen BF next year? What's the usual pattern here. Does anyone know?
Edit: Never mind. I decided Arturia deserves my money.
