@Bee_Abney all kidding aside I actually have a question for you.

You have made great strides rehabilitating yourself as a member of society, now as you finally take the next exciting step,finally being able to interact with people without court ordered supervision, an ankle bracelet or even restraints,I’m really proud of you!

Since you took the monumental step forward when you purchased the Mac Studio wouldn’t it be easier to just buy Logic and use these Matrix 1000 sounds rather than take us with you down this maniacal sampling conversion rabbit hole you seem determined to explore?
All you have to do is cut back on a couple of your weekly gin runs,library and effects purchases and your done.


Just wondering……………….?

I downloaded the free Alpine Project orchestral sample library and to my dismay the .nki patches only work with newer paid versions of Kontakt. However, it comes with folders of all the samples. Is there a way to group those samples together into a multi-velocity EXS24 instrument like you are talking about doing with the Matrix samples - that would not take me hours of work? There are so many instruments and articulations and I'd never have the patience to do them one by one. 1694870183840.png

There might be a way to programme EXS to recognise elements of the file names, but I doubt it.

You could speed up the process by manually separating the samples into separate folders that can be loaded in the right places; but that would still take a very long time.

There are applicaitons that could make the conversion for you, though. I have one for PC that does that. It might be worth looking into.

Also, you might also find that you can get some free orchestras in SF2 or SFZ format, to use in the free Sforzando player by Plogue.
