What's new

UVI Augmented Orchestra

took a while going through this ride of a thread but finally found the info I was looking for! Thano you!! Why its not in the manual is beyond me! Still in research mode, but since I’m here, are owners still enjoying their purchase?
Glad you found it helpful. Certainly would be useful information for the manual, but...

Acquired AO only a couple of weeks ago -- I am starting to lean into it a bit (actually has a fairly logical layout/easy to manipulate) but enjoying it so far

Does each preset have to be loaded from the workstation main preset browser as a new program with it's 388 keygroups? Every other UVI library I own, you can use that libraries internal browser once you load an initial preset from the workstation browser.

That's the way it works for me; AO is the only UVI library I have, though, so this might not be universal

Yep, thats the only way. Same goes for the Quadra's and a few other libraries which I cannot name from the top of my head ;)

No sound previews
You actually do have sound preview if you use Falcon as your host for the UVI libraries. You can use the File Browser on the right to audition presets before loading them.

the painful loading procedure

I can understand that. For me, the power of Augmented Orchestra isn't in the factory presets, but in the Programs (presets) you can create yourself. Those still need to load all key groups etc, but that's no different than loading snapshots in Kontakt for example.

Hey everyone, new Falcon user here (and new to the forum). AO seems quite amazing! Anyone seeing improvements from Falcon 2.8 to version 3 with AO?
