Which Macbook Pro to buy M1 or M2 or M3 for intensive orchestral (VI) scores

I just ordered the 16" M1 Max 64GB/4TB from B&H for $2899. Surprisingly, it is brand new. With 8 performance cores (more than M2 Max or M3 Max) it seems M1 Max may work best with Logic and ProTools which are the two main programs my daughter will use in College. Thanks for all your input.

That’s the configuration I have (+2TB) and I’ve been very happy with it!
 
I'll jump into this thread with a similar question.

I am considering buying an M3 MacBook Pro, upgraded with 64GB RAM. However, I am curious to know what your experiences have been with the M3. I have an M2 Mac Studio, but I am not sure how well they compare?
