Yes, in this situation the midi is played back (I can hear it) if I click notes, with the mouse, into a region. The highlighted track still does play MIDI, though - I don't think that's changed.

Its the first time I experiencing this. I will reach out to Spitfire as well. Thanks for posting, I had this issue and couldn't figure out what was happening. It happens sporadically in AR2 as well, I'll reach out to Spitfire to confirm.
Spitfire have only said that "BBC no longer works with the most recent update when using the templates." No other explanation.I thought that was the bug that Spitfire that Spitfire tried to fix with the replacement files.
This “bug” only happens with the 2 large BBCSO templates, the more simple one does not have this “Bug”. Anyway, I can use the bigger templates just activating the R button on the track .
Thanks for reporting back!I just had an online session (TeamViewer) with Josh from Spitfire audio. He discovered how to fix it:
Now the BBCSO template works without activating the red "C"
- Open the "Live Loops Performance" view using the icon at the top of the track headers
- Record enable the Live Loops Recording
- Disable the Live Loops Recording
Thanks for letting us know! And Josh from Spitfire Audio probably needs some kind of "obscure corner case" medal: that's a tricky one to spot. Record-arming doesn't follow the selected track if something is manually record-armed, but if that something is invisible then the only clue is that the white R isn't going red when you select a track.I just had an online session (TeamViewer) with Josh from Spitfire audio. It took him around 20 minutes to discover it, he wrote "I learned something new today"And Josh from Spitfire Audio probably needs some kind of "obscure corner case" medal: that's a tricky one to spot.
