MacOS Sonoma is here. What's working/Not working

So I ended up with Monterey, and updating from Mojave wasn’t too bad. C 10.5.2 working well with VEP 6.

I had to update Waves and the Lexicon MPX reverb. Everything else is working pretty well. Inserts from old projects don’t show in the main window for some reason, but they do show up in the mixer.

For some reason I have substantially more disk space available on my boot drive after the update, pretty confusing, but I guess I’ll find out why at some point.

That’s interesting, Larry. I happen to have a laptop running Mojave and a desktop running Monterey, so I decided to swap an SSD between them; and see what if there were any discrepancies between the two Macs.

They each told me a different story about how much space was available; but on my setups, it was Mojave that thought the SSD had more room. The difference was about 5 GB: 41.58 GB (Mojave) vs 36.35 GB (Monterey) and 180.87 GB (Mojave) vs 175.62 GB (Monterey) that were available on each of the two partitions.

Furthermore, when I returned the SSD to the Mojave Mac to double-check the figures, it briefly reported the Monterey numbers for available space before reverting to the Mojave numbers. Strange...

I don’t know what to make of this, but I thought I'd share the info anyway.
