It does seem unlikely that they would give Blackhole Immersive away when you consider how cheaply the stereo version often sells for.
Especially so soon after release.

They already gave me the H9 bundle for free, so if they want to add BH Immersive too, no complaints from me.I liked @kgdrum 's version better.

I haven't checked properly; but I think that the free update falls well short of the functionality of the paid for crossgrade. The full immersive plugins are separate plugins; but the original non-immersive plugins have been updated to have some ability to work with surround.
I could turn out to be wrong, of course.

I have found over the last several years Eventide are always extremely generous towards their customers. I bought in to their Anthology bundles years ago and I think they gave me the H9 bundle. Whenever they upgrade to a new Anthology bundle I’m all in because they are always customer friendly upgrades.

I just followed the email link and don’t see what the email implies so I wonder if Eventide needs to update the webste to reflect the email or if it’s a incorrect email? Very strange.

The release notes don't show anything for BH stereo but there is a major update for Immersive.

You think it’s a free update only for people that already own the immersive versions of the plugins? If so that’s some weird marketing,why would they bother sending out the email?

I don't see anything in your quote that even vaguely suggests that it's free for stereo owners.
Maybe if you quote in full I can see why you made that interpretation.
