Eventide launches Blackhole Immersive... and it's $499

We are happy to announce that the latest updates allow you to use Blackhole Immersive and MicroPitch Immersive in mono/stereo formats. The updates also include new presets, increased channel layout and upmixing support, and other improvements.

Does the freeze option still sum to mono like the original Blackhole does (due to a bug)?

Thanks for your question. Yes, freeze has been improved and does not sum to mono. There are even some new tricks you can try with the frozen audio buffer, such as adjusting the crossfeed or EQ bands.
