Cringe YouTuber Shock Face Thumbnail Hall of Fame

Using the "Clickbait Remover for Youtube" browser extension has greatly improved my quality of life.

Wow. This is nice! You can even remove the ALL CAPS titles!

This is also a win for content creators ... it will make your viewers and subscribers NOT hate you when you post those fake faces.

Yeah. I should probably explain a little more (for folks who are skimming).

"Clickbait Remover for Youtube" replaces all thumbnails with a screen grab from the video. And can force title text into all lower caps. Cuts right through the BS.

Fink yourself lucky you yung utoobers! When i was yung the only music you could hear, anywhere was via Radio Caroline, who insisted on not shooting Tony Blackburn.

Reception was terrible, here in North Carolina.

I used to hide my tiny crystal radio in my bedroom, in a matchbox in my bedroom, with a sparrows egg. A loyal mate of mine used to run out of the window beyond his house with a large elastic band that when stretched tight, to a secret specified frequency, could pick up messages from the good ship Caroline and the shipping forecasts too, so we could get our our dose of hot music, mixed in with handy weather forecasts.
Due to the long hours my friend would spend, standing in a field, for my sake, often with his right leg up, which curiously amplified the signal, our friendship became understandably"stretched" and eventually the rubber band snapped and we parted ways, flung to distant corners of the Universe for eternity.

I still have my half of this rubber band, and treasure it to this day.

Yuze got Utoobe! Be Happy. Life is easy.

The agape mouth may be an effective business strategy, but the price one pays is looking like an undignified fool to their family, friends, and the general public. You couldn't pay me any amount of money to present myself this way:

I think that having your mouth open in any photo (Eg candid photos with friends etc) looks weird/immature etc. I‘ve learnt to just smile in any candid photos I’m in.

The first time I saw his overly confident smarmy face and watched in horror as he violently slammed the piano lid open and proceeded to hammer out that clichéd chord sequence with zero dynamic variation, well from that moment I just knew he was going to irritate me more than a prickly pair of underwear, or that day a dude with questionable hygiene sat next to me on a bus, or that day my work colleague decided to have tinned sardines for lunch, or that day I got a piece of apple skin lodged between my teeth, or that day my neighbour decided to try to ‘sing’ Oasis songs at 3am. Yes, this is the guy who gives me a sudden urge to throw my phone across the room in a maddening rage of bewilderment and despair.
but you could have played a 100 songs by learning only four chords!

Again .. acknowledging that some really great YouTubers do it, because, well, it works ...

I don't think it looks immature. But I do feel it insults their viewers. It's like saying "I know this fake shocked face will make you click!" when in reality I hate it and hate rewarding that insult.

Unfortunately it must actually be working, drawing new viewers, so it'll never stop.

Another one is "HONEST opinion" or "HONEST review"

I think this should be a new articulation for vi instruments. Pronounced Ah-garp-ay. It's where the developer gets all the musicians to pull the click-bait face whilst playing staccato.

Yeah, “honest” has become a rubbery term these days.

I don’t doubt their honesty, but their trumpeting of HONEST seems to imply everyone else isn’t.

Hey, maybe it’s true, and everyone else are just paid shills, but … it’s still annoying.

I'm a simple man. When I see an expertly written, hilarious comment - I like.

In other words;
