Slate VSX - BUYER BEWARE - Hardware issues.

I went through 5 VSX of the first iteration because they kept breaking. They were all replaced. But then they sent me the newer version with the metal band. I've had it for a year now and it's sturdy and not breaking anymore.

From a software perspective, v4 was released not that long ago and it's yet another great update. To me, VSX is a complete game changer. Sound that you can trust and mixes that translate well to any kind of systems.

I've also just read the following that says that the current number 1 in the charts was mixed entirely on VSX:

I just got a new replacement pair. Yes, the steel reinforcement is much better. I had to buy a new license and the rooms aren’t the same on the new version, but it works out to be the same cost in the end if you buy the other rooms. I really missed mixing on them when they were being replaced.
