Hi all,
This one is special! You might have seen the original version from 9 years ago, it did well on YouTube. Erwan Menguy is an extraordinary wooden flute player, and he's accompanied by Kévin Le Pennec on the cittern. My girlfriend at the time showed it to me, and I was blown away.
Fast forward a couple of years, I moved to a different part of France and starting going to an irish session at a local pub. Kévin plays there ever week, and he recently lent me his cittern, the very same that he played in the original recording! I had been working on the tune on the mandolin, and this was a perfect opportunity to pay tribute to this lovely waltz.
Now, I don't have Erwan's skills, so I had to cut the waltz short, and make up for it with an arrangement consisting of woodwinds, strings and bells.
I hope you enjoy
