M-Audio Keystation Pro 88

I need a new midi controller badly and I was thinking of buying M-Audio's Keystation Pro 88. What attracted to me was all the controllers which can be very helpful since I don't have any hardware mixer.
The problem is it's price and I don't want to spend all that money on something that's not worth the price.

So my question is: Is the M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 really good or should I look around for something else?

Currently I'm using a StudioLogic SL-880 with weighted keys. Feel wise it plays like a concert grand, the midi functions won't impress the techies, but it works for me. If you shop around you might be able to find this one relatively inexpensive - just my two cents.
 
The Keystation Pro 88 has gotten somewhat of bad rep over on the keyboard forum. I think the complains centered around quality control. These were eary models, and Keyboard Mag gave it a glowing review, so maybe these problems have been worked out. A weighted controler for $500 would be a great think if it works well!
