Hi
I have decided to give the combined template, that so many talks about a go. But this time I will split up instruments in longs and shorts. This is only done for the sake of track delays. So I edit the expression maps to have the ones I need in each case. This means creating two maps pr. instrument one for longs and one for shorts. My plan is to have all my orchestral stuff running on VEPro 7 locally and on a dedicated PC server.
So my question is: Is two tracks pr. instrument enough to deal with track delays? Can legatos & longs be on the same track?
How do I deal with balancing levels, when I run all my orchestral from a VEPro server, what is the best approach?
