I've been experimenting for about a year now with a multiple-daw setup.
being able to use something like fl studio for midi and electronic editing while also at the same time being able to use cubase for orchestra/strings etc on the same project.
it took a bit of fooling around with the configuration to get it working but it really does open up to more possibilities, best of both electronic and orchestra synchronized via timecode.
would recommend!
