Hi,

Im looking for suggestions for smaller sections libraries that have a more vintage sounding tonality, (like the examples below) looking to use them in a songwriting context, much like these tracks. I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions you could give me, as there is so many different libs these days, I don't know where to start for this sound. Would mainly use legato but some shorts would be nice also! Thanks!

I currently have a very limited collection:
SSS (Not Pro)
Spitfire Intimate Strings
Spitfire SO discover
Spitfire Frozen strings
Fragile String Evolutions
Most ni stuff

Spitfire's Abbey Road Two might be the one you look for. Also, check out Orchestral Tools' Tableau Solo Strings and Tableau Chamber Strings. There is also Cinematic Studio Solo Strings, it has an ensemble patch that in my opinion resembles chamber size strings orchestra sound. I don't own these libraries though but one of them might be the most suitable choice for you (or at least a good starting point for your hunt).

EDIT:
Just realized that this thread should be posted in the more suitable forum section which is "Sample Talk".
