I use Pristine Space, which sounds equally great as IR-1. It does not come with any impulses, that's the major difference. Lot cheaper, and up to 8 channels. IR1 is only stereo.
Yeah basically I'm trying to get some comparisons between the two. I have both- (recently acquired IR) and I'm trying to figure out the instances I would use either program--or even like with EWQLSO-when to just use the default Grand Hall. To be honest-Gigapulse is on top for me at the moment but I have to give IR a bit more time.
I'm not familiar with Pristine Spaces, sorry - enlighten me! Because it sounds very interesting. I use Altiverb presently and like it pretty well but hey tools are tools.
You can simply download the demo version, which is fully functional, apart from an audio dip each few seconds.
I typically run a few instances, even one with FX Teleport over my network on an old server. The latencies are low enough to be used on the incoming audio from my sample PC's.
Great software, great support as well. Nice guy.

Yeah Peter-I think it would be a good move having both PS and IR. You seem to always bring up Pristine even if the subject is IR-so maybe do the comparing the best way-Get Both!
