Hi all,

Just a quick note that the pre-orders will go out on Monday 7.
Because there is some manual work involved in handling them, the plugins will be available in the shop after that, later on Monday or ultimately on Tuesday 8.

Several days were lost to issues outside of the plugin software code last week. Not a big delay after the announced end-of-October, given that the BM7 plugin is also finished :)

Check Samplicity.com for the latest GUI images.

Cheers,

Peter

I'm curious with the Berlin Studio plugin since I've owned few OT products. Would love to see this plugin will easily blend other non Telxdex products to sound rather cohesively. The input signal is recommended to be dry close mic signal?

That is correct, it is actually a "tap" from the plugin input and thus the sound of your sample(s). Normal reverb plugins have a dry/wet knob or fader. Here you have some more control, as you can treat the input with EQ and pre-delay separately from the three reverb channels.

Hi Ewig,

The BM7 plugin, like Berlin Studio, has zero latency, meaning that the processing does not introduce any delay. Seventh Heaven also offers zero latency.

There are performance differences between the currently available BM7 version and the next one. The current one does all of its processing in the "host's time", which - on some systems - can result into higher CPU requirements / loads.

The next version, which I hope to start delivering to customers next week, has multi-threaded processing and is very light on the CPU. On several test computers its CPU load is less than 50% of Seventh Heaven's CPU load.

@Peter Emanuel Roos, I'm very impressed by all the demos I've heard of Berlin Studio. Just wondering if you have any update on when you expect to have a trial version available?
Doing my best to have trial versions online next weekend (May 14) - unless the migration of the current users to the iLok version requires more time than I expect. I cannot post the trials online before that.

Cheers

Question about the transition to iLok: my iLok email is different than the email I ordered Berlin Studio with. I just wanted to verify that we will be supplying our iLok account info to you when the transition begins. Thanks!

Hi @Peter Emanuel Roos, just wondering if there's any update to the above?
Probably tomorrow.

The installers with all the plugin flavors are ready, but the migration involves a lot of steps, like uploading customers' license information to iLok, sending out notification email lists, changing the webshop "products", etc.

There are some catch-22's in the order of doing things, maybe I have to lock the shop for 1-3 days and provide the trials first (which are also usable by customers).
