Hi Everyone,
I'm facing this issue with the iLok where I am doing the 'Local' activation for the plugins.
Let's say I started with a fresh windows installation on my laptop.
I activated two of the plugins - from izotope - as you can see in below screenshot.
It worked perfectly fine until couple of days and to my surprise, today I see that my plugins need activation.
When I checked in iLok license manager, I saw that now it's pointing to another local machine and my older instance in 'Unavailable' status.
I have not performed any major updates (probably some minor ones) - sharing the screenshot below.
This would be 3rd time this has happened and I have to keep on raising a request to iLok for 'Report as unavailable' for activated machine instance.
This is pretty annoying since it's the same physical machine with no major version changes.
And I have been facing this only when I switched to windows 11 so not sure if it's just a co-incidence.
For the time being, I have stopped my auto-updates for windows, hoping that it'll make some difference.
Please let me know if someone else has run into same issue and found another solution than using a 'physical dongle'
Thanks.
