Hi guys,
I have a 2019 Apple, 2.5ghz/ 64 GIG RAM/ Lacie Solid State hard drives (Apple formatted). There are a few of my libraries after larger sessions with Trailer music, like my Audio imperia Horns and Choir libraries are clipping in kontakt since the disk is running over 100 percent. I've tried re formatting my external drives to Apple format, I've tried Batch resave in Konakt. I'm just afraid that my computer at 2.4ghz turbo maybe just not fast enough? Honestly I purchased the fastest Apple laptop I could find at the time on the market, but it looks as though it's just not going to be enough? I'm using Lacie 3.1 Solid state drives to store my Kontakt libraries.
Is there anything at all I can do to help this? Could I purchase a better external drive of some type to speed things up, or am I just going to have to buy another computer? I know in Ableton I can freeze tracks and save Kontakt space like that, just wondering if there's anything else I'm missing?
