I really like Dan's self observation that most of what he covers is nerdy 5 percent stuff, not the bulk 95 percent of mixing that is what majority of people actually struggle with. I think that's true for most youtubers, hardly anyone actually provides solid first principles approaches to starting and building a mix. Whereas good paid courses like mixing with Mike, really have in depth cohesive practical strategy and approach to mixing.
